Colonel Nunn, Commander of the 1 – 2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, officers,
great soldiers, and partners from the United States Army and the Royal Thai
Army.
On behalf of the 112th Stryker Regiment Combat Team, it is my great honor to
welcome all of you to the opening ceremony of Exercise Hanuman Guardian
2026
Hanuman Guardian is an major bilateral training event that strengthens the
long-standing partnership between the Royal Thai Army and the United States
Army. The Hanuman Guardian 2026 marks the 17th iteration of the exercise. For
many years, our two armies have trained together, learned from each other, and
built strong bonds of trust and friendship.
This exercise reflects our shared commitment to co-operation, professionalism,
and regional stability.
Hanuman Guardian 2026 also continues the strong momentum from Exercise Cobra
Gold, which was successfully conducted. Hanuman Guardian will build on that
success by focusing on tactical training and interoperability between our
Stryker and support forces.
During this exercise, my intent is the same as Cobra Gold – Integration
between our Armies. our soldiers will still train side by side, share
knowledge, and improve our ability to operate together. Most importantly, they
will continue to build the personal relationships and mutual trust that make
our partnership stronger.
To our friends from the United States Army, we are again proud to host you
here and we look forward to productive training together.
Now, it is my great honor to officially declare Exercise Hanuman Guardian 2026
